Cargo Van Driver

$300–$800 per week

Position Overview

As a Cargo Van Driver with McWill Logistics, you'll safely transport freight across regional routes while representing our company with professionalism and reliability. You'll be part of a growing team committed to on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • • Safely operate cargo vans within state regulations
  • • Complete assigned routes and deliver freight on time
  • • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • • Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
  • • Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates and delays
  • • Provide excellent customer service to clients and receivers
  • • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs promptly
  • • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

  • • At least 21 years old
  • • Valid driver's license
  • • Minimum three years of general licensed driving experience
  • • Acceptable motor vehicle record
  • • Freight, courier, or delivery experience preferred
  • • No DUI or reckless-driving conviction within the past five years
  • • Able to pass drug screening
  • • Able to safely lift and secure freight and move up to 50 pounds
  • • Able to use GPS, smartphone apps and electronic proof-of-delivery systems
  • • Reliable, punctual and able to communicate with dispatch
  • • Availability for local, regional, and expedited assignments
  • • Comfortable driving extended distances and occasionally staying overnight
  • • Eligible to operate under commercial insurance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • • Experience with cargo van freight delivery
  • • Technology proficiency with GPS and mobile communication systems
  • • Experience with regional routes

Benefits & Compensation

Competitive Salary

Pays weekly between $300–$800 per week, depending on route requirements, distance and scheduled duration. Drivers are also eligible for overtime pay, company-paid lodging and per diem for approved overnight travel.

Performance Bonuses

Earn up to a $1,000 new-driver retention bonus during your first 180 days. Additional quarterly performance bonuses may be awarded based on attendance, safety, customer service, communication, documentation accuracy and overall job performance.
